Studies of business ethics and international management have traditionally highlighted controlling organizations and individuals by formation and dissemination of “management way.” However, in the case of Komatsu Ltd., there is a possibility that dissemination of “management way” is to develop local personnel who can manage a branch overseas. In addition, the management way (the Komatsu Way) can be revised in response to situations. Not only Japanese but also foreign subsidiaries can concern this revision.
