Abstract

New and improved designs and research and development have suffered due to the absence of competitive pressures in China, resulting in integral architecture capabilities not created. Consequently, domestic technology could not be utilized in passenger vehicles, which were then implemented with technology from foreign capital firms. Thus, manufacturers of trucks with a relatively modular structure are gaining in strength.
