Abstract

The social construct of technology is often interpreted in a manner that negates technological determinism and tends to emphasize social determinism. While the logic certainly exists for such a position, there is also a theory positioned between the two that nullifies the confrontation between them. Hence, the social construct of technology is definitely not monolithic, and the controversy it engenders continues.
