Synthesis and Crystal Structure of 3-(3-Anthracen-9-yl-acryloyl)-6,8-di-tert-butylcoumarin

Abstract

The title compound was synthesized and its crystal structure was determined by an X-ray method. The crystal belongs to the monoclinic system, space group C2/c, cell parameters: a = 32.276(7)Å, b = 9.3186(19)Å, c = 21.188(4)Å, β = 123.69(3)°. V = 5302.4(18)ų, Z = 8, D_x = 1.224 Mg/m³. The π-π stacking interactions play important roles in the solid-state packing of the title compound.
