Abstract

In the title compound, C19H17O6Cl, the biphenyl twist angle is 45.4(2)°. All of the three ester groups attached to the phenyl ring are planar and make dihedral angles of 60.2(2), 70.0(2) and 15.3(2)°, respectively. The chlorine atom lies in the plane of the phenyl ring to which it is attached. C-H…O interactions contribute to both the molecular and crystal stability and C-H…Cl influences the packing.
