Synthesis and Crystal Structure of 6-Butyl-5,6-dihydrobenzo-[4,5]imidazo[1,2-c]quinazoline

Abstract

The title compound was synthesized and the structure was investigated by X-ray crystallography. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal class in the space group P2₁/n with cell parameters a = 7.6800(6)Å, b = 17.3330(15)Å, c = 12.0440(8)Å, β = 105.248(5)°, Z = 4. The quinazoline ring is in envelope conformation. The structure exhibits an intermolecular hydrogen bond of the type N-H…N.
