Abstract

The compound, 4-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-3,4-dihydro-1(2H)-naphthalone (tetralone), C₁₆H₁₂Cl₂O, crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal class in the space group P2₁/n with cell parameters a = 10.606(2)Å, b = 22.110(5)Å, c = 12.477(2)Å, β = 110.647(1)°, V = 2737.9(9)Å³ and Z = 8.
