Abstract

The X-ray crystal structure of the progestogen flurogestone acetate was established. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2₁. The absolute configuration was determined by observing and calculating the F(+)/F(-) ratios of Bijvoet pairs, and by determining the Flack factor.
