Abstract
The title compound, C27H26N4O5, was synthesized by the condensation of 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoylpyrazolone-5 and 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoylhydrazide. The crystal structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1 with a = 9.1895(18)Å, b = 12.201(2)Å, c = 12.500(3)Å, α = 78.32(3)°, β = 74.23(3)°, γ = 68.86(3)°, V = 1249.4(4)Å3, Z = 2, R = 0.0605. The inter- or intramolecular N-H…O hydrogen bonds, together with π-π stacking interactions, stabilize the crystal structure by causing the formation of a one-dimensional chain structure.
