Abstract
The crystal structure of Cu2(dae)(CH3SO3)2 (dae = diallyl ether) was determined by X-ray diffraction. The complex crystallizes in monoclinic system space group P2(1)/n with a = 9.033(3)Å, b = 15.985(6)Å, c = 9.598(4)Å, β = 90.314(6)°, V = 1385.9(9)Å3, Z = 4. The structure was solved by direct methods (SHELX-97) and refined to a final R value of 0.053 for 1987 reflections (I ≥ 2 σ(I)). The novel linear complex consists of dimeric units that are interconnected by Cu-O-Cu bridges to give an infinite chain.
