Crystal Structure of the Zinc(ii) Complex [Zn((3,4,5-Meo-ba)₂en)Br₂]{(3,4,5-Meoba)₂ en = N,N′-Bis(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzylidene)ethylenediamine}

Abstract

In the monomeric complex [Zn((3,4,5-MeO-ba)₂en)Br₂], the Zn(II) atom has a distorted tetrahedral coordination, and is covalently bonded to two Br atoms and datively bonded to two N atoms of the Schiff base. The crystal structure of this complex was determined by X-ray crystallography from single crystal data.
