Crystal Structure of Tris(isopropylxanthato)indium(III)

Abstract

The title compound was synthesized and its structure, [In(S₂COPrⁱ)₃] (C₁₂H₂₁InO₃S₆), Mr. = 520.51), was determined. The crystal is monoclinic, space group P2₁ with a = 18.989(5)Å, b = 11.164(3)Å, c = 10.497(5)Å, β = 90.51(3)°; final R = 0.0294. The complex comprises of an enantiomorphous pair of descrete [In(S₂COPrⁱ)₃].
