Abstract

The X-ray crystal structure of the antileishmanial 7-methoxy-4-[(E)-oct-1-enyl]pyrrolo[1,2-a]quinoxaline was established. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2₁/c. Solid-state data could be used to clarify the mechanism of action implicating this new antileishmanial 4-(E)-alkenylpyrrolo[1,2-a]quinoxaline.
