The title compound, [Ag(Phca2en)(PPh3)2]ClO4, where Phca2en is N,N′-bis(β-phenylcinnamaldehyde)ethylenediimine, crystallizes in space group P21/n, with a = 21.2044(7), b = 10.5089(3), c = 28.1172(9)Å, β = 109.205(1)°, V = 5916.8(3)Å3, Z = 4, T = 292 K, Dcalc = 1.386 mg m-3. The coordination polyhedron about the Ag(I) atom is a distorted AgN2P2 tetrahedron and the Phca2en acts as an N,N′-bidentate ligand.
