Abstract

Emotions affect bodily functions such as heart rate and body temperature through changes in the activity of the autonomic nervous system. We empirically know that positive emotion is good for mental and physical health. I introduce here a method to evaluate positive emotion by measuring the behavioral outcome to understand possible brain mechanisms of such an affirmative effect of positive emotion on our body. I also introduce here the preliminary results from our research.
