A dose of 200 mg or 300 mg of fortimicin was administered intramuscularly once a day for 4-6 days in 12 cases of otorhinolaryngological infections. Clinical response obtained in these cases was excellent in 8 cases (66.7%), good in 3 cases (25.0%). The effective rate was 91.7%. No side effect was observed in these 12 cases.
