Abstract
After feeding rabbits with non-protein food, serum-protein decreaces positively and plastosomes of the liver cells transform into giant granules. The first sign of this transformation of plastosomes appears on the 6th day of non protein feeding, and on the 10th day all plastosomes transform completely into this giant granular form.
Such transformation of plastosomes may be understood as the result of functional abnormalities of the liver cells due to hypoproteinemia.
