Abstract
To develop high performance disposal system of waste sludge using subcritical water, the batch subcritical hydrolysis reactions of raw waste sludge and concentrated waste sludge were studied. For 10 min subcritical hydrolysis reaction (513K), the majority of waste sludge were completely hydrolyzed and oil, fat, residual solid, and aqueous solution produced. Oil mainly consisting of oleic acid and palmitoleic acid and the aqueous solution consisting various kind of organic acids and amino acids were obtained. From the analysis of CHNS measurement, fat and residual solid would consist of saturated hydrocarbon.
