Abstract
Experiments were planned to determine the pathogenesis of the anemia in liver allergy described previously (in II nd report). Normal rabbits were injected with the serum or the liver emulsion of the rabbits of experimentaly induced liver allergy. Then, severe anemia with a distinct hemolytic pattern were induced by each injection, but no remarkable changes were seen histologically and functionally in the liver. This might be caused by auto antibodies against red cell that may be contained in the serum or the liver emulsion of the rabbits which were suffering from the liver allergy induced by injecting the mixture of Turbo extracts and liver phosphatide.
