Abstract
This paper aims to consider resident's countermeasures to damages by wild Japanese macaques in the coexistence of urban-rural village where damage is serious. Correlations among the contents of damage and the coexistence of farmhousehold and non-farmhousehold and length of inhabitance were analyzed. It is the most important countermeasures to cooperate between the longer term residents and the shorter one.
