Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to survey the attitude to being a new entrant to the farming industry among elementary and junior high school students in lwate Prefecture.
As the result, the ratio of students who want to become a new entrant to the farming industry is larger than the actual ratio of becoming a new entrant to the farming industry. This ratio of city area is almost same as that of rural area and this ratio of girls is almost same as that of boys. And students who want to become a new entrant to the farming industry are interested in agriculture and rural life.
