The purpose of this paper is to clarify that the activity of drawing expression through active touch is an effective way to develop young children's sensory perception. I carried out some experiments in which 5-6 year-old children drew pictures of images perceived through tactile object recognition experienced while blindfolded.
As a result of these experiments, It was clarified that there is a tendency for activity of drawing expression through active touch to promote children's drawing expression based on the sense of touch, not on vision, or by concept.
Therefore, it can be said that the activity of drawing expression through active touch is a partially effective way to develop young children's sensory perception.
