We would like to note that there are two errors in the manuscript. The configuration of f₄ statistics f₄(Yoruba, Korean; Japanese, Dai) on page 51 should be f₄(Yoruba, Korean; Jomon, Dai). In Figure 3, the labels for CHB and CHS were flipped. The correct figure is shown below.

Principal component analysis of present-day and ancient East and Northeast Asians. Principal components were calculated using the present-day individuals shown in the plot as well as Yakut individuals. Yakut individuals are not shown in this figure because the plots have a long tail. The ancient individuals were projected on the plot using the principal components as described in the Methods section.

The corrections do not change any of the conclusions. We apologize for the mistakes.
