Abstract
The first scientific consideration of the palmar crease was found in the middle of the ninteenth century. Main palmar crease are a distal transverse crease (DFF), proximel transverse crease (FFF), radial longitudinal crease (DF), Venus line (ZFF), etc, in Fig. 1. In the present study, the simian crease and the Mfigure patterns of palmar creases in Ainus have been considered, comparing mainly with those in the Japanese.
