Abstract
Baloghobates nudus was described by HAMMER (1967) from New Zealand and has never reported from any other country. The author had a chance to obtain a large nnmber of the species collected on living trees in Japan.
In this paper the author describes the species in detail, examining many features not mentioned in the original description.
