Two species of salticid spiders, Bristowia heterospinosa REIMOSER, 1934, and Tasa nipponica BOHDANOWICZ et PRÓSZYNSKI, 1987, from Japan are reported and illustrated. The former species is new to the Japanese fauna and the latter one is recorded for the first time after the original description.
