In this short report I deal with a new specific transfer and two new specific synonymies on the family Gnaphosidae from Japan. I wish to express my sincere thanks to Dr. M. Grasshoff, Senckenberg Museum, Frankfurt am Main, for loaning the type specimen of Drassodes rotundifoveatus.
