Abstract
A theory is developed to predict the fluctuation of spherical wave through atmospheric turbulence with Kolmogorov spectrum, which is radiated from a point source over a ground with a finite acoustic impedance. Mean value and standard deviation of the sound pressure level and mean value of the sound pressure are derived and calculated, and the theory shows good agreement with measurements.
