Abstract
1. The so-called acid-precipitable and water-soluble urine mucoids of Mörner were demonstrated to be identical with each other. The writer names the mucoid, in this sense, “urinomucoid” to distinguish it from the fractions of Mörner.
2. Urinomucoid contains an acetylglucosamine-galactose (1:1) complex as the prosthetic group.
