Abstract
1. The heterogenetic antibody can be produced in a rabbit serum by the immunization with the alcoholic extract of a dog kidney, combined with a pig serum as a schlepper. The active substance as an antibody producer is contained in the acetone insoluble portion of the alcoholic fraction, namely the phospholipin, whereas the acetone soluble fraction of the alcoholic extract lacks the heterogenetic antibody producing property.
2. The phospholipin fraction of the alcoholic extract of a dog kidney loses the heterogenetic antibody producing property, when purified by a cadmium lipoid double salt method.
3. When the crude phospholipin is hydrogenated and separated into a water soluble and the chloroform soluble fraction, the active substance as an antibody producer is collected only in the former fraction.
4. The globulin prepared from a dog kidney has a property to produce the heterogenetic antibody in the rabbit serum when injected.
5. The stroma of sheep red corpuscles fixes complement in the presence of the heterogenetic antibody, and the active substance as an antibody detector is collected only in the water soinble fraction.
