Abstract
A numerical scheme for solving time dependent nonlinear diffusion equations is proposed, and some numerical experiments are executed to evaluate the merits of the scheme. The main feature of the scheme is the scheduled variable time step strategy. With the scheme, some "Stubborn problems" are solved efficiently by the well-known Trapezoidal based method, and some special notices are given to select the test problems, and condensed table of the test is presented.
