Abstract

During the mycological survey in Fukiage Gardens in the Imperial Palace, a fungus was collected and found to be a new record of Japan. It was identified as Cylindrium elongatum, and its description is provided with additional specimen. The occurrence based on environmental DNA had already been obtained, but this is the first time to obtain voucher specimens linked with sequence data.
