Bryophytes occurring in a 15ha long-term monitoring plot located at 1650-1700m alt. at Doi Inthanon (2565m alt.), northern Thailand, were found to include 50 families, 117 genera and 210 species, excluding those as yet unidentified to species. Representatives of 33 families, 90 genera and 138 species of mosses (Musci), 16 families, 26 genera and 71 species of liverworts (Hepaticae), and 1 family, 1 genus and 1 species of hornwort (Anthocerotae) have been identified. Three new moss species are reported based on the collections: they are Clastobryopsis imbricata, Indopottia irieandoana, and Symphyodon leiocarpus. The genus Micralsopsis is reported as new to Thailand with M. complanata. The terrestrial copper moss, Scopelophila cataractae, is reported occurring on tree trunks.
