Abstract
One of the authors has reported in the preceding paper an experi ment on the interrelationship among the stimulus intensity, the stimulated area and the reaction time of the human gustatory sensation. Based on the results obtained there, we proceeded in this paper some theoretical treatment, in the hope of clarifying the dependence of the reaction time upon the impulse frequency in the nerve.
