Abstract
Five species belonging to the genus Sarcoρhaga, not previously reported_ from Japan, have been found by the authors in Tokyo. Of these, one species has been identified by the authors as Sarcophaga subulata Pandelle, 1896. The other four species were thought to be new species. Some of these species are relatively common in Tokyo and important from the sanitary standpoint. Therefore the descriptions, drawings and photographs of these species wilt be given in this paper.
