Abstract
A method of simple spectrometric analysis of the type metals is studied through the atmosphere effect.High voltage spark excitation of a flat sample by the point-to-plane technique is employed .As momentary intensities of analytical lines and internal lead lines are determined photometrically, it is necessary to obtain stabilized spark discharges.
Various gases such as air, nitrogen, and argon are introduced into the analytical gap in the open air to make the vaporization of samples uniform.According to the experimental results, it is most desirable to supply the argon near the face of the sample through a graphite counter electrode at the flow rate of 2 1/min.The standard deviations are 0.10% for 2.10% tin and 0.27% for 12.59% antimony.
