Abstract
For those who work in taxonomy and systematics, field work is fundamental to conduct each research. In the past decade, the author whose researches focus primarily on the origin and evolution of widespread aquatic plants has performed dozens of plant surveys in Asia, Australia, Europe, and N. America. Among these are those carried out in Russian Far East, western India, Myanmar, southern Australia, and the Mediterranean mentioned in this essay.
