Abstract

The automatic nonelectrolyte analyzer reported previously was applied to determine the concentration of ethanol in fermentation process liquid with correction named K-value method. But the results with some error caused by coexisting nonvolatile components were still observed, so the relations between conditions of measurement (calibration and determination of K-value) and errors were analysed. The results obtained by the analysis have shown good agreement with those obtained by the measurements reported previously. Furthermore, the condition for reducing error was found.
