Mobilities of various cobalt-ammine complex salts through filter paper are determined by electrochromatography. The result showed that those complex ions having the same valency showed approximately the same mobility regardless of differences in structures, in general, the mobility was increased with an increaase of its valency. This is important as a new method for estimation of valency as well as the separation and identification of complex ions.
