Abstract
The odor strength and compressive strength of ordinary concrete N and blast-furnace slag concrete with high fineness slag B cured in indoor atmospheric environment at low-temperature(2℃)were compared. The difference between odor strength in the standard curing and indoor atmospheric curing condition at 2℃ was defined as the difference in odor strength, and it was shown that the comparison with curing effect in atmospheric curing at low-temperature could be carried out by the difference in odor strength. Then, in case of starting outdoor exposure test in winter time, it has been shown that the difference in odor strength decreased and the compressive strength increased with prolonging the period of moisture curing before starting the exposure test. Finally, it was shown that there existed the linear relationship between the difference in odor strength at the age of 14 days and compressive strength at the age of 180 days in outdoor exposure test starting at winter season. From this relationship, it was clarified that the compressive strength of the blast-furnace slag concrete and ordinary one at the age of 180 days was almost the same in case of period of moist curing for 14 days before starting outdoor exposure test.
