Abstract
Interstitial liquid phase in clinker serves as an excellent fluxing agent to accelerate the C3S formation and plays a stabilization role of cement-manufacturing process. Therefore, there is little information about cement reduced it. In this study, we manufactured clinker and cement reduced it below 6% and evaluated them. As a result, such clinker had unique fine textures but cement was equivalent to the quality of commercially low heat portland cement.
