Abstract
In this paper, the authors compared the fresh properties of mortar processed by wet screening method and those of the mortar produced with a concrete mix proportion from which coarse aggregate was extracted to study the fluidity of concrete containing Carbon-free Fly Ash(CfFA)with the LOI of 1.0% or less. As a result, it was found that the fluidity of concrete could be evaluated from the fluidity of mortar and that the fluidity of concrete could be evaluated from the bulk density or void percentage of Fly Ash. In addition, the pumpabilities of CfFA concrete were conducted by using the concrete produced at the mixing plant. It was found that for CfFA concrete, the pressure loss in the pump pipe line became large compared to the concrete without fly ash, but there were no significant changes in the properties of fresh concrete measured before and after pumping. Moreover, when vibration was given, it was observed that the concrete containing fly ash improved more in its fluidity than the concrete without fly ash.
