We performed a clinical study on cefpirome (CPR) by administering the drug to 8 patients with serious infections, Clinical effect was excellent in 4, good in 1, fair in 1 and poor in 2 patients with overall efficacy rate of 62.5%. No side effects due to CPR were observed in all patients.
