Fifteen patients with respiratory tract infections were treated with S-1108 in doses of 300 or 450 mg a day. Clinical efficacy was good in 12 cases, fair in 1 case and not evaluable in 2 cases. The total efficacy rate was 92.3%. Slight abnormal laboratory findings were detected in 5 patients, but no side effects were observed.
