Clinical evluation was carried out in 21 patients (sepsis 1, pneumonia 7, pulmonary suppuration 1, pyothorax 1, chronic bronchitis 8, bronchiectasis 2, cholecystitis 1). Clinical response was excellent in 7, good in 12, fair in I and poor in 1 case, on overall efficacy rate of 90.5%. Abnormal laboratoy findings were elevated GOT·LDH in 1 and eosinophilia in 1 patient.
From these result, BIPM was thought to be highly useful for the treatment of aged patients with various infectious disease.
