When the author did the earth science class about the Great East Japan Earthquake at a senior high school, the students did the research and presentation about it, using the newspaper on the topic. The students produced the poster on the theme selected among articles of newspaper and performed presentation with it. And as the attempt of sending message to the society, they contributed to reader’s column of the newspaper. Although this class is necessary for more improvement as a better class of the school, the students could have opportunity to think actively about Earthquake Disaster.
