Abstract
Recommendation for Design and Construction Practice of Formwork was revised and published by Architectural Institute of Japan in February 2011. This paper describes main revisions. The recommendation compliments JASS 5 and contains newly developed information and techniques according to the policy of the former revision. Aiming at confirming the safety of formwork and the quality of concrete, contents are described easily in order of form work considering the environment conscious techniques and the actual state of form work. The frame of contents is similar to the former version, but the chapter on methods of formwork is divided into two, that is, general method and special one.
