Abstract
With a view to extend the durability of prestressed concrete structures, the Japan Prestressed Concrete Institute has published Guidelines for Extending the Durability of Prestressed Concrete Structure. These guidelines present technical considerations for extending the durability of prestressed concrete structures across the entire cycle from planning to design, construction, and maintenance. This paper gives an overview of the contents of these guidelines in the order in which they are presented.
