Abstract
This paper deals with the seeds which have been found in the cement chemistry concerned with our laboratory and may fit for severe needs from up to date concrete technology. General portland cement would change in near future to the blended type which contains rather much slag and or gypsum or other components. Portland cement clinker can be obtained with consumption of only half fuel by the use of slags instead of clay as main raw material. Ultra high early and ultimate strength alite cement would be produced by partial reduction of steel slag, accompaning with by-products of high value such as magnesium, vanadium, phosphatic fertilizer and high quality steel. Extra high strength material can surely be made by the carbonation of steel slag. On the other hand, studies are caning out in other laboratories too to get such cements suitable for the wells of ultra deep oil, high preasure natural gas and high temperature geothermal and also to withstand to the accident of nuclear reactor.
