Abstract
The purpose of this paper is discribe the manufacturing process and the properties of autoclaved lightweight concrete (ALC), such as bulk density, strength, elasticity, shrinkage cracking, heat insulation, fire resistance efficency and sound insulation. It is point out that use of the following characteristics of ALC, fire proof, high heat insulation, high sound insulation and lightweight, is far better than the use as structural material for buildings.
